You probably have the brake light hooked up to the rev limiter switch in the throttle
and probably the brake light switch hooked up to the rev limiter, its easy to, i know because I've done it.

You could also have a fuel pump with a bad diaphragm
the fuel would then leak down the pulse line into the crank case

I got a track for a spitfire for free, its in one piece, and it all looks pretty good, but since it has sat for a long time in a shop it looks dry. is there anything you can do for it?

The steel inner part is loose from the outer part. The middle picture shows it the best.

I dont know if any of you remember my problem with my belt flying apart on my 80 liquifire in december, but i believe i found the problem. What he is saying is that the powerband of the engine is at 4000 - 6500 and after that the engine does not make as much horse power. So the clutch engages in the power band and starts the sled off and the secondary clutch keeps the rpms in that range during acceleration to have maximum acceleration ...

well i changed the muffler with a different one and it still does the same thing. So i put in brand new plugs and set the gap to .025" and still no difference.

Okay the oil pump lines were right, and changeing the CDI made no difference at all. This is really confusing me.
