I just re measured the shock Originally I measured it as 6.5 closed 8.5 open with 7/16 holes. measured this time to where the rust was bad on the rod. I got 7 closed and 8.5 open Looks like a 114-07 might work 7 closed and 9.5 open 7/16 holes Any thoughts? The only thing I would be concerned about ...

FYI, if anyone else tries this, it will be inevitable you will get wax or wax residue on the areas you need the paint to stick. I used a commercial wax remover on a q-tip to remedy this. Works for ears too...

Hey Dustin, yeah like Scott said I had some NOS plastic. I suppose new ones could be reproduced easy enough, would just need the right material.
