its finally painted. I did it all myself with a lot of help from Southern Polyurethane Inc. The black shots are before wet sanding & buffing, it looks like a mirrror now, I will get new pics up soon.

It sounds like it was a awesome time.. I am only an hour away, but failed to make it there. I have been block sanding and prepping my '69 Mustang for the paint, the funds and time are tight. Too bad the snow we are getting is a few days late. Any count on how many sleds were there?

Im thinking of selling the pipes ( Kenny has 1st dibs, I promised that months ago). I dont need to be revving 9000 to give my kid a ride.....I will take them off at the end of this year or next fall when I do a routine carb check & rejet for the stock pipe. The muffler is in the end of each pipe...

I have the pipes on my 81. They are noisy, but not too bad compared to the triples of the 90s. It is only obnocious on pavement, on snow its not loud, so when you get fuel, it will be the noisiest. You will have to rev it for 9000 rpms to get the full power of the pipes. I have not compared it to a ...

My brother in law had a stockpile of parts, and this was included, still in the bag. The ## is 08-156. I had to put different bushings in the ends, and bolt it to the front arm, but it works great so far.

I was always partial to the mid 90s ZR, very nice ride, but handled great also= low center of gravity. JD was well ahead of the times putting that 440 liquid as low as they did.

I cannot fathom what the new sleds are selling for. Its a great sport, but my oh my are they getting pricey....
