Does anybody know where I might be able to turn these parts into some $$ or JD sled parts? So far I know I have: a carb for a 1010,2010...ect. A tach for a 4020 Then I have a few sets of ...

Joe, now that you mention it, its not drilled for the cross shafts. But the holes that the support brackets bolt to are there, so it would be a simple matter of bolting on the supports, and using them as templates. I didn't mean to anger anyone with my comments on the value, but in most cases the sl...

My 73 400 has all the same mounting points at my 295/s with slides. If yours does its a bolt on deal. I wouldn't worry about modding it. It may be "rare" but to anyone other than a collector its not really worth anything.

ATTENTION! Reproduction Pistons
Thanks...I was aware of the VN connection...but not any of the new developments. Sounds great! In regards to anything negative anyone has heard about forged pistons...remember two things... The Kioritz 295RS/2 & 340RS/2 engines have steel sleeves The Liquidator had forged not cast pistons -Rich...

295/S & 340/S pistons
Kenny, at 60-80 each I'd be in for 295 pistons. Are you thinking of getting oversize ones done? I'm sure there are a few tore up cylinders out there.

I would assume it to be a 340 f/a with an extra cylinder tacked on it.. thats what most other brands did. Someone with a tig welder, 2 340 f/a, and some creativity could build an example pretty easy. I was always gonna do it with a pair of the 6 port suzuki 500 f/a and build a 750 triple for my elti...

No problem. I remember my first sled, a jag that had one.. Miserable pos carbs IMHO. I know the jet that screws in from the top likes to plug easy...I think they call it a "grose jet" you used to be able to get them from CSS. I had a spare one of those carbs kicking around somewhere...but ...
